 About Our Bread
 The Great Harvest Whole Grain Bread Difference

First and foremost, we are a bread company. Great Harvest handcrafts bread daily through the sponge and dough two-step method. The art of sponge doughs were used before preservatives were ever invented. In addition, the honey that is used in our breads are natures own preservative. We use only pure and simple ingredients. Our breads are long-fermented and kneaded by hand then baked in our huge oven.

Every day we fresh-grind premium whole wheat in the bakery and blend it with ingredients from nature, like yeast, salt and local honey. Great Harvest never uses chemicals, preservatives or additives. The result is bread that tastes simply amazing. The bar has been raised high, it is what makes our bread unique and taste like no other bread out there.

We Support Family Owned Farm

 For more than three decades we have been a 
 friend to family farms located in Montana. We
 know wheat farmers on a first-name basis. They
 understand and produce our proprietary whole
 grains that have the baking qualities and hearty                                                
 taste that are uniquely Great Harvest.
